Download & install
Get Beyond Site free from the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Android is coming soon.

Add your first site
Tap Enter domain, type an address such as example.com, and confirm. The first result appears within seconds.

Read the status
Green means healthy, red needs your attention. Tap any card for the full diagnostic view.

Turn on alerts
Switch Alerts on for a site, set your thresholds, and optionally connect email so your team hears too.

Key screens
What each part of the app is for
Main screen
Your command centre: the Total, Up, Issues and Cert summary, the auto-refresh countdown, the add-website field, find a site, filter and logs, and a card for every site with its own ping, refresh, DT, Alerts and Logs controls.
Filter sites
Narrow a long list by category, kind of issue, certificate state or expiry date range, with a live count of how many sites still match.
Site details
Status and response time, certificate dates and issuer, monitoring details with Speed Trace, port availability, and SPF / DKIM / DMARC checks.
Dashboard
Interactive charts for status, response time and SSL expiry, an issues breakdown grouped by cause, and an all-sites list.
Home-screen widget
The same four KPIs on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, in light or dark, with a Needs Attention list in the larger sizes.
DNS monitor
Per-domain records, DNSSEC, propagation across global resolvers, change history and an optional 24-hour auto-monitor.
Alert settings
Certificate thresholds, a separate email recipient list per level, device-offline alerts, sound and the background summary.
Email configuration
Connect Gmail, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud, Zoho, Fastmail or any custom SMTP/IMAP server, then send yourself a real test email.
Pro tips
Long-press almost anything on the main screen — the status tiles, app-bar buttons, a site card — to see what it does.
Working on one site? Tap the DT chip on its card rather than the DT button in the app bar, so your other sites stay monitored.
Maintenance at the same time every week? Tap DT in the app bar and schedule it once, repeating — for every site, one site or a category.
Turn on Logs for your critical sites to build a check history you can export.
Use the Ping tool to test a host before adding it permanently.
Add the Home-Screen widget so you see a problem before you even open the app.
Back up after setting things up, and keep the file somewhere other than your phone — or turn on Scheduled backups to iCloud Drive.
What the notifications mean
Every alert the app can send, with what it means and what to do about it
Site availability
A red “Site down” alert when a site stops responding, and a green “Site back online” when it recovers — sent on the change, not on every failed check.
SSL certificates
Green, orange and red reminders as a certificate crosses your thresholds, plus a separate red alert if the certificate itself is broken.
DNS changes
Red when a watched record change could affect traffic or mail, orange when it is routine. You choose which record types are watched.
Integrity
Problems a working site can still hide: stalled monitoring, weakened security headers, changed page content, a slow response, an expiring domain.
Background summary
A quiet note after each scheduled check saying how many sites were checked and whether anything needs attention.
Device offline
Posted when the device itself loses its connection, because that is when monitoring stops. Clears itself when you are back online.
Scheduled backups
A note if a scheduled backup could not be made — once per missed backup — and, if you ask for it, a quiet one each time a backup succeeds.
